Making A Purchase
You can select from the payment options to call us with your card details if you prefer. We accept Visa, Switch, Maestro, Mastercard and PayPal.
When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Our shipping rates are £3.90 for orders under £100 in value; £5.95 for orders between £100-£999 and £7.99 for orders over £1000. Please note for physically larger orders, we may need to charge additional shipping to cover pallet costs. Most of our range ships direct from our parent company's warehouse in Germany on a 5-8 working day delivery schedule, though some items may drop ship from third party suppliers.
Paying By Cheque
We welcome payment via cheque. Please make all cheques payable to "Bresser UK Ltd" (our parent company). If unsure of totals or shipping charges, please contact us on 01342 837 098 or by email at email@example.com.
Tax Charges For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 20.0% VAT is included.
We do not refund VAT on the first £100 of any order placed. The purchase price is increased by the VAT to cover the extra costs involved in shipping out of the UK. After £100 we will refund on request.
Credit Card Security
When the order is placed at our website, card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. We do not have access to your card details as they remain encrypted throughout the entire transaction process. They are not held or recorded by us even after taking a telephone order confirmation.
Guarantee Your satisfaction is our highest priority. If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will do our utmost to resolve any issues you may have.
You are entitled to return any product during the 14 day cooling off period but please read our returns policy for full details of our terms and conditions. All return carriage charges are the responsibility of the customer with unwanted purchases.
Binoculars are covered for manufacturing faults for the entire warranty period, collimation issues resulting from impacts cannot be covered and therefore it is strongly recommended that they are checked for this by the customer within seven days of receiving the goods. After the seven day period we are unable to replace or refund binoculars for collimation issues. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Errors and omissions excepted. Please note that specifications and images may differ from time to time and can be changed without prior notice.
In the case of clearance products available on our website, please note, these items are often customer returns which cannot be sold as new and thus may have imperfect packaging or slight cosmetic issues. All clearance items are sold with a limited 3 month warranty, unless otherwise stated. This warranty does not cover any issues cosmetic or otherwise stated at point of sale.

We reserve the right to charge additional fees for preparation of customs documentation, where deemed necessary.
We request that the original purchaser or their representative contact us as at the earliest possible opportunity to obtain return authorisation, in the form of a return goods number "RGN". This helps us to quickly identify and inspect returned items whilst reducing avoidable delays to the authorisation of repairs, exchanges or refunds. Bresser UK Ltd will endeavour to process all refunds or exchanges for returned goods within 14 days of them being received or proof of their return being provided.
Please note, due to the combined nature of many of our Megadeals, it is not possible to return or exchange one constituent part without the other(s).
Right of withdrawal. You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the goods.

Effects of withdrawal. If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods including all cost associated to returning the item to serviceable condition, if returned not packaged correctly in original packaging, including repairs, if goods are damaged in transit back to us. This is in line with your responsibility to take care of goods while in your possession, including transit back to us. The return cost is estimated at a maximum of approximately £60.00 (for Mainland UK returns, this will potentially be more for non-Mainland UK collections). Any reasonable costs associated with returning returned goods to saleable condition can be deducted from refunds. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

All goods delivered must be inspected immediately after delivery and damages caused in transit must be also reported within two working days so we can make a claim can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and work swiftly to resolve the issue. Please ensure all delivery address details are accurate, as we cannot be responsible for failed deliveries or losses arising from supply of incorrect delivery addresses.
If you believe the goods to be faulty please contact us immediately as many problems can be easily resolved. If a product is faulty, the customer will ensure that the product is returned using a service, with appropriate insurance, that incurs only reasonable cost. It is a requirement that Bresser UK Ltd refund the reasonable cost of returning a faulty item. If a product develops a fault after 30 days from the date of original supply, Bresser UK Ltd reserves the right to decide whether to; repair, exchange or refund the goods. If a product develops a fault more than 6 months from the date of original supply, Bresser UK Ltd reserves the right to determine if the fault was present at time of original sale These terms do not affect the warranty provided by the manufacturer of the goods.

As already mentioned, you are required to contact us prior to returning any faulty goods to obtain a returns number. If the goods are faulty you can return the goods for refund or replacement. Faulty goods are inspected by our staff prior to authorisation of any refunds or exchanges of goods.
