The Bresser Messier NT-150S/750 EXOS-2 GOTO offers the user a great visual experience and is also an excellent platform for venturing into Deep Sky astrophotography.  The NT-150 is Newtonian reflector of 150mm / 6-inch aperture and f/5 focal ratio / 750cm focal length, utiliting a parabolic mirror to deliver excellent views of deep sky and planetary targets alike.


Due to the focal arrangement of the NT-150S, it's possible to get a DSLR or other imager to prime focus of this system - taking advantage of the fast f/5 focal ratio, in order to deliver efficient use of your imaging time.  The Bresser Exos-2 equatorial mount has the full Startracker Goto system pre-installed, giving the user the choice of 272,944 objects (including all the regular Messier, Caldwell and Solar System favourites).  In addition to this, the Exos-2 offers a polar alignment scope and an ST-4 standard autoguiding port, giving the possiblity of greater accuracy for long duration astrophotography (when using an ST-4 compliant Autoguider, available seperately).


This telescope also comes with the Hexfocus rack and pinnion focuser, which supports the weight of a decent camera set-up and is imervious to lateral image shift, due to its ingenious hexagonal cross section drawtube, which supports and distributes weight evenly, no matter what part of the sky the telescope is pointed towards.  A 6x30mm finder is also provided, as is a telescope carrying handle with a built in camera attachment, in order to mount a widefield camera to the body of the scope - making the whole telescope an easy-to-use widefield camera platform.  A 26mm Bresser Plossl also comes as part of the package, giving 29x magnification.
