The Celestron NexImage Burst (Mono) is in intermediate monochromatic imager from Celestron, designed around the Aptina AR0132 CMOS imaging sensor. The highest resolution of this camera is 1280 x 960 pixels and it is capable of streaming 30fps at this resolution (120 fps maximum at reduced resolution). When allied with appropriate RGB filters, this imager is capable of producing full colour images at potentially higher quality than it is possible to with a colour camera of the same resolution. To accomplish this, a filterwheel is recommended for use with this camera, particularly the Celestron Skyris Fitlerwheel.

Manually adjust gain, exposure time, and frame rate.
Machined aluminum 1.25" adapter barrel with C-threads for direct threaded connection to almost any telescope.
Included software automatically removes video frames affected by unstable air, leaving only the sharpest, clearest frames to be stacked and aligned into one high-quality image (compatible with PC only).
