Patrick Moore's Broadhurst Clarkson 3" Refractor

These images show the 2008 restorartion of Sir Patrick's Broadhurst Clarkson 3" refractor in our workshops. The tools and techniques used during this project are the very same that were used to produce this fine brass instrument back in the 1930's.

The first image shows the instrument before any restoration work was undertaken.

This image shows the Telescope after careful disassembly showing all the original brass components.









Here is the fully restored instrument ready to be delivered by hand back to Sir Patrick.
