I got this site from an old Sky at Night Magazine', and would like people to know what a top class service I have received so far.
After spending over £300 in shops along the way, I spent 15 minutes speaking with Ted at Telescope House, and he helped me

The service is professional in every way, and that's like gold in this day and age. Even found a pair of binoculars that left me with

I was out that morning, but my daughter took delivery at about 8:30am without problems.
I am very happy with the 15 x 70 Revelation binoculars. For the price I was amazed at the quality of the build and optics.
I took them out in the garden for a few minutes on Wednesday night and saw Venus as a crescent, Saturn as an elongated yellow smudge, and Jupiter showed a full disc with all 4 moons visible (this is hand held !), one of them very close to the planet. The Moon looked fantastic too. I can't wait to try them on some deep sky objects once the Moon is out of the way. Optically They are sharp and contrasty, with only a slight softening around the outer 10 or 15% of the FOV, something I can live quite happily with. The false colour around the edge of the Moon and Jupiter was minimal and not obtrusive in the slightest, in fact, much less than my trusty 80mm F5 refractor.
I am recommending these binoculars to everyone in the York AS who asks where I bought them, and I'm also writing a review of them for our Society magazine "Algol".

I called on your recent Meade day in May 06 and purchased a TMB130 Lightweight APO refractor. I have to tell you what a stunning telescope this is!!
The views of Jupiter and the Moon, especially with a binoviewer are beautiful. This was a once in a lifetime purchase and I am very pleased. This telescope lives up to its reputation, and I did speak to two owners before going ahead. I also love the extreme portability and sheer quality. Once again thanks to Alan and Rob for their great service.

The revelation 15x70 binoculars came today and I am immensly pleased
with them .The views are clearer than my other bins and my scope. the
view of pleades and orion was so good I lay on the ground for an hour
stargazing.

Hi,
I wanted to write and say "BIG THANKS" for your assistance and advice concerning the purchase of a pair of Bresser 10 x 50 Binoculars.
Previously I owned Zeiss 10 x 50 Jena's which were outstanding in their optical performance but at a considerable price. One the negative side they were particularly heavy to handle and carry any distance in their case. Sadly they were dropped by a friend on a camping trip and the cost of prism/lens replacement and recollimation was more than they were worth.
I saw reviews of the Bresser, with their BAK 4 prisms (quite unusual in low cost binoculars) which described them as "good for general astronomy". I wrote to ask your considered opinion given that £24.99 buys very little these days.
Your advice was a precise and accurate description of these Binos which are quite simple outstanding value given that £24.99 included 24/48 hour courier delivery to my door, beautifully protected and packaged.
Having evaluated the Bressers for the last few weeks in varying test conditions, I must say I am delighted with them. The image is crisp, sharp and bright and they feel much more comfortable in my hands than the heavier Zeiss. The Bresser are much lighter with their durable rubber coating and much more "carry friendly". Surprisingly the Zeiss did not come with lens covers which the Bressers did.
Thanks for your good service and unbiased and accurate advice which is most appreciated.
I have no hesitation in recommending the Bresser 10 x 50 as an excellent product for the low price of £24.99.
Prior to purchase I searched the Internet for reviews of these Binoculars without success. Please feel free to use my above feedback to assist other users in their future purchases.

Just a bit of customer feedback.
Ordered a revelation 8" Dobsonian 2 weeks ago during a visit to your
excellenly layed out shop and extremely helpful staff. After the stock
arrived last week I picked it up last Saturday. At home in the gloomy
weekend I got the base put together and set it all up, tweeked the
collimation and was ready for clear skies, set up was a breeze. The
whole thing was well packed and in pristine condition. Last night
arrived with clear skies at last. With the Beehive, Pleiades, orion
nebulae, Mars and Saturn around to name but a few it was difficult to
know what to look at first. Everything I looked at was superb, the scope
was a dream to use and in my humble opinion when you look at the price
of other scopes was amazing value for money. My first scope was an 80mm
and this was a terrific upgrade. Well done on an excellent product that
had all the little extras good 2" eyepiece, super smooth crayford
focuser, fan and good quality finder.
Thanks again to you all, no doubt I'll be back.

I would like to report the excellent and unbelievably prompt service received recently from the staff of BC&F at Telescope House, after knocking my beautiful ETX over in my backyard. (Followed by the sound of my head being banged on the wall). I was given very friendly and knowledgeable advice over the phone and the carrier called first thing the next morning! The scope was returned to me fit and well a very few days later, collimation restored, various minor niggles remedied, Autostar updated and the whole lot checked over - and the bill considerably less than I feared. Restores one's faith in human nature.
Telescope House will get first chance to supply my future needs. Truly, astronomical service at down to earth prices!

As you will know, I collected the tripod today and also bought a 18mm
Cemax eyepiece. I just want to say how pleased I am with the new kit, it
has opened up a new field of astronomy to me (In warmer conditions as
well!!).
The only trouble in visiting your showroom is that its too tempting!

Here is an evaluation of the Revelation, after our first night of observing.
Had a chance to test the Revelation last night, seeing was a bit variable, but in my humble opinion it performed on a par with any telescope that I have ever looked through (eg Meade 12" LX200, COAA 20" Newtonian).Great views of Saturn, Jupiter and the Moon. We bought our first telescope , a 4" reflector from "Fullerscopes" in 1964 at £7, that was a great little scope which taught us a lot; the Revelation is an incredible instrument , well made in every respect.
